Guy Architects & Engineers is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer with a P.Eng designation and 8+ years experience to join our great team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the integrity of various structures, working in a Professional Architectural office, with EIT and Architectural Technology support.

The team focuses largely on the design of residential and commercial buildings and assists clients on projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities:

​

• Design and analyze structural components of buildings, and other infrastructure projects

• Utilize software such as Civil 3D, Revit, AutoCAD, and Mathcad for drafting and design

• Collaborate with architects and construction teams to ensure structural integrity

• Conduct on-site visits to assess structural conditions and provide recommendations

• Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards

Requirements:

​

• Registered P.Eng with a Canadian association with preference for NAPEG members, available for a position in Yellowknife, NT

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MicroStation

• Strong mathematical skills for structural analysis

• Experience with project management and coordination

• Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members

• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with drafting tools like Revit and expertise in structural design software
