Wayne, a long time Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) has been a leader in his field, pioneering technologies, systems and processes to meet the requirements of the most unique environment and culture on the planet, the Arctic.
Founder and principal of Guy Architects (GA) Wayne has over 25 years experience working out of offices in Iqaluit and Yellowknife. His achievements include the design of the Ecole Alain St Cyr in Yellowknife, which was the first educational facility in Canada to utilize “displacement ventilation” a low-energy ventilation system, which contains less allergens to cater to the needs of the growing number of hypoallergenic children. The school’s designed also enabled the pristine taiga forest to come right to the building, enabling student to be immersed in nature during the course of their daily curriculum. The School was sited as the top best-designed buildings in the in the Americas by Verlagshaus-Braun, a Berlin publisher and was features in both Canadian Architect Magazine and Architecture Magazine as the most innovating school in the country.

Since moving to Yellowknife and joining Guy Architects in 1997, Constantina has worked extensively on Civic, Educational facilities, as well as Residential, Recreational, Industrial and Commercial projects.
Constantina excels at management and design - skills gained over more than 15 yrs of experience.
She is also Guy Architects' Chief Finance Officer.
Constantina holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University, a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Architecture from McGill University.

Richard Guy, SENIOR STRUCTURAL/CIVIL ENGINEER
Richard Guy is a structural Engineer who has worked in several countries worldwide as a project manager on large engineering projects. His most recent projects have been in the Canadian North where he has designed and supervised the construction of schools, commercial facilities, housing, airports and mining structures.
Richard has worked as a design Consulting Engineer with the largest engineering firm in New York: RAND Engineering. Richard has experience of conducting forensic engineering for several Insurance Companies and Banks. He has also written reports dealing with Insurance Claims arising from Hurricanes, Earthquakes, Fires and Floods.

Jamie McFadyen, ARCHITECTURAL INTERN

Jamie moved to Yellowknife in 2015 and has been working extensively on the schematic and construction drawings for an addition on a single-family home in Yellowknife. She brings experience from Calgary, where she worked for the City of Calgary and private design firms.
Jamie assisted with Pre-Design and Schematic Design on a range of municipal projects and a large-scale master plan for the Badland Raceway & Resort. Jamie possesses strong Project management skills to help assist the client in their projects. Some of her projects include the Yellowknife center 3rd and 4th floor renovations.

Peter Gillis, ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST
Peter received his diploma in Architectural Technology from Algonquin College. He has completed Working Drawings for residential and commercial building projects. Peter has a solid ability in using programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Google Sketch Up, and Photoshop.
He has a personal interest in emerging technologies that use alternative sources of energy, and has designed green sustainable residential buildings using passive solar features.

In 2015, Lisa completed her Interior Design diploma at the Visual College of Art and Design in Vancouver, British Columbia. She has had experience in furniture design, as well as furniture redesign.
